How can I see my podcast's stats on Spotify?

You can now login to Spotify's podcaster dashboard, even if you've submitted your podcast through Transistor!

Prepare your RSS feed

In order to claim your podcast listing on Spotify, you'll need to first check that your email address is correctly shown in your RSS feed. This email address is used as part of Spotify's verification process.

Go to the Settings tab of your podcast in Transistor
Scroll down to the Owner Email field
Check that email address is correct and that it's an email address you can access
Check the box next to that field, marked Display this email in your RSS feed
Click Save Changes

Email addresses only need to be shown temporarily in your feed when submitting or claiming listings on podcast directories or when moving between hosting providers. You can toggle this setting off again after you have claimed your listing on Spotify. Hiding your email address at all other times will reduce spam to your email address.

How to verify your podcast on Spotify

Here's what the processs looks like:

Here are the steps to follow:

Log in to Spotify for Podcasters with the Spotify account you want to be associated with your podcast
Click on the Add Your Podcast link on the sidebar
Add the RSS feed for your podcast that is already on Spotify
Click the Send Code button, Spotify will send a verification code to the email address in your podcast RSS feed.
Type in the verification code and click Next
Confirm additional settings associated with your podcast (country, language, categories)
Press Submit

You will now have access to Spotify analytics for your podcast.

You will be able to gain access to multiple individual podcasts via this feature. Similarly, the rest of your podcast team can access the statistics for specific podcasts as well.  As long as they have access to the email address in the RSS feed.

If you have further questions for Spotify on this, please reach out to Spotify's support team at podcasters-support@spotify.com
